Reservation Terms and Conditions

Right Bros. Limited t/a 'The Wright Car Company' Reservation Terms and Conditions Definitions

In these terms [unless the content requires otherwise] the following definitions apply:

    1. 'Appointment' means the appointment to view the vehicle in accordance with clause 7.
    2. 'The Company' means the car dealership owned and operated by Right Bros. Limited t/a 'The Wright Car Company'
    3. 'Customer' means an individual who wishes to inspect a vehicle at The Wright Car Company and/or on-line at www.thewrightcarcompany.co.uk
    4. 'Reservation' means the process and/or procedure by which a vehicle is reserved, via a customer's request in accordance with these terms & conditions.
    5. 'Purchase' means the entering of an agreement/contract to complete the purchase of a vehicle.
    6. 'Vehicle' means a passenger car [this being a car intended for the carriage of passengers] and/or a light commercial vehicle which a customer wishes to reserve.
    7. 'Working day' means any day except Saturday and/or Sunday and/or any bank holiday.
  1. These are the terms and conditions that apply to the exclusion of all others [including any verbal statement or representation] in respect of the reservation fee.
  2. Reservation is only applicable to vehicles advertised for sale on-line. A reservation fee can only be paid on-line or by calling the telephone number listed.
  3. A reservation fee is only available to vehicles advertised on www.thewrightcarcompany.co.uk where the vehicle is advertised with a reservation fee option.
  4. To secure a vehicle reservation then the fee must be paid by card payment in the name of the customer; the customer must also provide the following information: - Full Name / Full Postal Address / Telephone Number / Email Address / Preferred Method of Contact
  5. Once we are in receipt of the reservation fee, The Wright Car Company will reserve the chosen vehicle for a period of 48 hours unless extended and agreed in writing by The Wright Car Company.
  6. Within 48 hours of confirmation that The Wright Car Company is in receipt of the fee the customer must make an appointment to view the chosen vehicle; the appointment shall be by attending the business premises of The Wright Car company or by making an appointment to view on www.thewrightcarcompany.co.uk
  7. Where a customer attends the business premises of The Wright Car Company and proceeds with the purchase of their chosen vehicle, the reservation fee will be applied to the purchase price of their chosen vehicle.
  8. Where a customer attends an appointment and notifies The Wright Car Company on the day of the appointment that they do not wish to proceed with the purchase of their chosen vehicle, then the reservation fee will be refunded by way of credit to the card used in accordance with clause 5 within 5 working days.
  9. Where the customer does not comply with the requirements contained in clause 7 or 9 then the reservation fee is to be forfeited and therefore will not be refunded.
  10. Customers can only make one reservation at any one time.
  11. The reservation is not a deposit and as such shall not constitute a contract for the sale and/or purchase of the chosen vehicle.
  12. Any other person who is not a party to the terms & conditions herein shall have no rights under and/or in connection with the terms & conditions and the provisions of the Contract [Right of Third Parties] Act 1999 are expressly excluded.
  13. These terms & conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
  14. The parties to these terms & conditions submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
  15. Nothing herein contained in these terms & conditions will affect and/or limit the statutory rights of a consumer.
  16. Each of the sections of these terms & conditions operate separately, should a court or relevant authority proclaim that any of the sections are unlawful then the remaining section[s] will remain in full force and effect.
